Daoming-4 (Pingtoushan) starts construction

Spedify, Saint Paul School Fund for the creation of educational infrastructure in the province of Yunnan (China), thanks to the support and generosity of teachers and students of the School, the generous support received from both within China and abroad and the tireless work of Spedify’s members in China, after a detailed investigation that has lasted 3 years, is pleased to announce the start of the construction of its primary school Daoming-4.

Daoming-4 will be built in Pingtoushan, a Miao ethnic minority village near the city of Kaiyuan (Yunnan). This place is home to over 100 Miao families. The nearest school is more than 10 Kilometers away, so the majority of children in this town do not go to school. Our project has given great hope to the people and their people are willing to contribute with their own work to the building of the school. It is expected that by mid-August, the school is finished and that its official opening can be held on September 1.
