Building water cisterns in Denglongshan

On September 14, according to the plans of Mr. An from SP Edify, we immediately started to make the preparation work to construct several underground water reservoirs in the Miao village of Denglongshan: the purchase of cement, steel and other materials.

The president of the Luliang Catholic Church, Mr. Song y some of his colleages came to join us in preparing especifically for the task, such as  held village meetings to form groups for the construction of the water reservoirs, reasonable arrangements for construction workers and members of support groups, mobilize the enthusiasm of the people.

But the biggest problem has been to find the wood pannels to make better water reservoirs: if we build square cisterns, their quality may be a problem and will take some more material, but we were unable to find proper pannels to make circular cisterns. When we were confronting this problem, the mayor of Kaiyuan Yangjie and some other good hearted people, gave us a big helping hand and gave us two sets of pannels to build circular cisterns, making it possible to proceed smoothly with the project, that is expected to be completed around November 8.
