Daoming n.2 primary school (Zhangpojiao) starts construction on March 19 th.

On March 22, 2007 at 9 o'clock in the morning, and with economic aid from the Sacred Family School in Macau, SP Edify (St. Paul Fund for the educational infrastructure in Yunnan province) began constructing its second school ""Daoming."" The place is a village of the Miao minority, in the mountainous area near the city of Kaiyuan, called Zhangpojiao. Today all the inhabitants of the village men, women and children alike, are immersed in a festive atmosphere, they may finally bring their children to school, something that were desiring for 30 years. The fact that their village has a school is like a dream that is about to become reality. Under the same plan, SP Edify also built a reservoir of potable water 10 meters in diameter and 5 meters deep, which will provide enough clean water to drink throughout the year. In these 30 years, Zhangpojiao did not have drinking water, and its inhabitants had to walk about 6 km. in order to have water. We hope that the whole project is completed in May, to be inaugurated in September.
