This year's rainy season has arrived earlier than in previous years, and throughout it, the sky is always overcast with frequent rain. As the villagers say: ""there are no three clear days, nor three leveled meters of land"" And so, in this kind of weather, we have begun the construction of our elementary school Daoming-3.

Those who help us in the building are, as usual, Christians of Luliang, which, based on his Christian faith and love, and full of love for others, have abandoned their farm work in their own place to come to this difficult mountain area home of the Miao ethnic minority in order for them to build a new elementary school Daoming. Some have family members sick, the children of some of them just finished high school and must make an important decision, but, in order to have the new school as soon as possible, they will not return to their villages. Work begins every day very early and finishes very late, often they have to work in the rain, even when they are sick, without defections. The inhabitants of Mataipo also contribute with their work: women with children on their backs, go to the fields to look after the crops, while men, saddled with their tools, go to the construction site of the school. The whole scene is in full swing.
